About Me

I come from Venezuela, a warm country in South America with beautiful beaches and mountains. I grew up in the town of “El Tigre” in the oil state of Anzoategui. I obtained my Engineer’s degree in Systems in Caracas, the capital of the country.

In September 2008, I traveled to Canada to start a Master of Science (Computer Game Technology) taught on the Algoma University campus from the University of Abertay Dundee in Scotland. The program is really solid and the experience was unique. Thanks to Algoma University I was able to attend at Futureplay (2008,2009) which is a great conference aimed to reduce the gap between academia and the games industry. On the other hand, University of Abertay gave us the opportunity to participate in Dare to be Digital 2009 (http://www.daretobedigital.com) which is a competition where a team of 5 members have to develop a prototype of a video game in 10 weeks and you get paid for that!.

My life in Canada is both a challenging and enriching experience. Now I hope to complete my dream getting a job in one of those companies that make the games I still play.
